Portland’s Grand Ball on New Year’s Eve at the Portland Marriott Waterfront will feature the return of the Dan Reed Network. Originally from Portland, Oregon, the band’s many releases on Mercury/Polygram cultivated a worldwide following that still exists today. This reunion marks the first time in almost 20 years since their last appearance onstage. Also appearing will be the area’s most in- demand party event band, Bart Hafeman’s Hit Machine. Nu Wave Machine featuring Blake Sakamoto (Dan Reed Network) and Auditory Sculpture (Keith Schreiner) will also be appearing.
