Chibia is a violinist and vocalist from Portland, OR. A graduate of Portland State, Chibia balances a budding music career and artistic passions with her role as Orchestra Teacher in the Evergreen School District in Vancouver, WA.

While Chibia’s sultry soundscapes envelop her listeners in pure sonic warmth, her bouncy tracks get them moving and dancing. She thoughtfully pairs deep, meditative vibes, introspective musings, inventive melodies, and lush productions to realize her uniquely soulful sound and bring life to her carefully crafted compositions.

Returning to the Botanist with members of Portland's very own Thankusomuch, Chibia will be performing an exciting set of original music and unique cover songs.

 

Description: This benefit music series will feature Portland's top Soul, Latin & Jazz bands.

During the shows, we will spotlight positive tangible commentary from community activists, select nonprofits, and social equality advocates sharing ideas and strategies to unite our divided country.
