Blossom: An eclectic R&B jazz-singer who today feels right at home on stage. While it took her some time to grow in confidence, since 2014 she has been creating and performing non-stop. The positive effect music has had on her life is something Blossom now strives to share with the youth in her community. The city has recognized her talent and in addition to being constantly sought after for shows, she has also received accolades such as being named one of Willamette Week’s best new bands in 2017.
Veana Baby: a 24-year-old soul singer originally from Minneapolis Minnesota. With a musical theater background and love for poetry she moved here four years ago to pursue music. Now Veana is happily performing around town making music with her friends. Look out for her next upcoming single "clouds" will be out by the end of the month.
Yawa: Singer, songwriter, producer, performance artist from Memphis, TN. In her one-woman show, she builds vocal and instrumental loops from kalimba, synthesizer, drum machine, and guitar creating atmospheric textures. Weaved into syncopated rhythms and dichotomies of comedic proportions, Amenta surprises and tantalizes audiences with mind bending ideas while skipping vocally from soul-shaking gospel to smooth jazz. Boldly mystical and soul-fired, and her raw live performances invoke elements of both theatrical surprise and magic through ancient African diasporic sounds and stories.
Rainezra is a 23 year old musician and educator from Portland Oregon. Specializing in youth out reach, Rain strives to help youth artists get opportunities to perform and record. Rain is also cofounder of LLC ladies of the Rose. After getting her certificate in professional music at PCC, Rain began instructing full time at Ethos and released her first EP possibilities on all platforms. Now Rain makes a living teaching, and performing all around the Pacific Northwest specializing in R&B soul and pop genres
Lo Steele is a singer, songwriter, and award winning actor and poet from Portland. Known for her frank lyrics and simple melodies, she aspires to make art that “makes people feel seen”. You may have recently seen her performing her original music as a part of The Mayday Lovestream’s One Year Anniversary Show, or in Clackamas Repertory Theatre’s Queens Girl in the World, for which she won a Drammy for “Outstanding Solo Performance”. Check out her most recent single and music video Nighttime Friends. and the pre-release of her new song Give Yourself Grace, available on Bandcamp.
