Marv and Rindy Ross – FINAL LIVE SHOW – A farewell to all
Marv and Rindy started playing as an acoustic duet together right out of high school in 1969 (yes, 53 years ago) and have made a decision that they will play one last live concert here in Tualatin at the 2nd Saturday Community Concert series of IrishPDX.com!
"Good morn, Sam… Rindy and I have decided to announce our show at the Winona Grange as our very last ‘live’ performance… ever."
“It’s been a long, great ride for us – glad to end it at the Winona Grange – it’s so very charming and ‘Oregon’.” Marv
“The Winona Grange in Tualatin (8340 SW Seneca St) is charming, aged, intimate, and so very ‘Oregon’… and, therefore, the perfect venue for Rindy and I to perform our last public show on Nov. 12th. Since ‘retiring’ Quarterflash & The Trail Band just before Covid, the two of us have been recording and playing as an acoustic duet… which is how we started over 50 years ago. It has been a perfect unbroken circle playing these last few years together but… it’s time. We will continue to do occasional studio work and write but performing ‘live’ is something we are ready to bid adieu. I hope you can join us for one final toast…"
Tickets are limited. Sat. Nov. 12th, 7:30 pm (doors at 6:45 pm)
Marv & Rindy also co-created the hit Artist Rep musical, 'The Ghosts of Celilo' garnering 11 Portland Area Musical Theatre Awards. The Rosses received the "Legends" award from the Portland Music Association, were inducted into The Oregon Music Hall of Fame, and received an Alumni Award of Excellence from their alma mater, Western Oregon University, for their contributions to NW history and music.
