He’s been a reoccurring soloist with the Grammy-nominated Oregon Symphony for the last 15 years.

 

Currently traveling all over the country as the lead singer & part of the cast with world famous Choreographer, Rennie Harris’ production of LiFTED. Lastly, Alonzo co-wrote, arranged, and recorded a song that the world-renowned Alvin Ailey Dancers toured & performed worldwide in their 60th-anniversary production of Lazarus. His interest in music began around the first grade when he was selected to sing the lead for his classroom's Christmas program. From there he got started like many other artists of today: singing and stepping into the role of lead vocalist in his church choir. Now, this talented vocalist has stepped into his own as one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier male vocalists, creating quite a buzz. And his name? Alonzo Chadwick! Possessing incredible vocal range, and an amazing voice to perform almost any genre. He also has an energetic stage presence that impacts you emotionally as well as joyfully. Able to move deftly from a simmering ballad that soothes the soul and sets an ambiance, to an up-tempo R&B, Blues, Jazz, Funk, or Gospel groove that creates a high-pressured musical experience, that not only gives you chills, but is guaranteed to have you up on your feet clapping, dancing and singing along. 

 

 

The Elevate Unity Benefit Music Series is a collaborative effort created from the necessity to support the arts, reconnect our community, and promote unity through the healing message of music! Our focus is to advocate for inclusion, and equality, while finding help to support our local venues, staff, gig workers, and musicians from the devastating effects of our industry shut down.
