It's that time of the year again! The annual Blooms & Butterflies at ECEC will be held this Saturday, June 15th.

Blooms and Butterflies is a one-day celebration of spring color in the garden and the return of the butterflies to beautiful Elkton, Oregon. The event features a 5K Butterfly Run, Kids’ Fun Run, tours of the butterfly pavilion and Fort Umpqua, live music, and kids’ activities.

Shop local with crafters, artisans, and vendors featuring home and garden, eco-friendly, handmade, and wellness items. Food, coffee, and baked goods are available on-site all day in ECEC’s student-run cafe. Native plants, butterfly-friendly perennials, and garden starts will be for sale.

Hours:

Cafe hours are from 9 am - 5 pm 

Booths are open from 10 am - 4 pm

Elkton Community Education Center site hours are 9 am - 5 pm

Registration: 

Participants can choose to run anytime between 9 am and 11 am.

$25 — Adult Run 

• Includes 17th Annual ECEC Run t-shirt, choose your size (S-XXL) at checkout. 

FREE — Kids Run

• T-shirts are not available for free kids run.

• 8:00 am- Outpost Cafe opens for drinks; full service at 9. Run registration opens
• 9:00 am- Butterfly Flight Room & Fort Umpqua Tours begin
• 9:30 am- Post-Run Cool Down Yoga opens (drop in)
• 9:00 am- Butterfly 5K Run/Walk
• 10:00 am- Vendor booths open
• 10:45 am- Family Singalong on the Greenhouse Patio
• 11:15 am- Award Ceremony & Costume Contest
• 11:45 am- Live Music with KT and the Love Notes
• 1:15 am- Butterfly talk with ECEC’s Butterfly Steward
• 1:30 pm- Live Music with Decor’mm
