Join The Hood River County Education Foundation at The Ruins on Saturday, October 12, for a fundraising concert featuring Hit Machine and local favorites County Line.
Food Cart rock stars Indian Bowl & Roll and Taqueria La Picosita will be on-site to make sure all attendees have their fill of tacos, samosas, and more! HRCEF will also be hosting games (with prizes) and a raffle.
This event will benefit all HRCEF programs, including:
- Scholarships for Hood River Valley High School seniors and alumni pursuing vocational, two-year, or four-year degrees
- Impact Teaching Grants to support educators with creative ideas to implement new methodologies, experiments, or projects in their classrooms
- The Opportunity Fund provides need-based scholarships for after-school care in our elementary schools
- Field Trip Grants to enrich the learning experience for all elementary and middle school students outside of the classroom
- Swim Lessons for all Kindergarten, second, and fourth-grade students in Hood River County to learn basic skills and safety
