Derby Entry

Online registration is closed. Please register at the Expo Box Office (Thursday, 3 pm - 6 pm & Friday 6 am - 8 am)

Adults (16+) – $60 

• Included 3-day admission to the Steelhead Expo.
• 16 and older. All youth participants must be accompanied by a paid derby adult participant (18+).
• Must have Idaho Fishing License and Steelhead Permit.

Youth (15 & under) – FREE

• Children 15 & under are admitted free with paid adults.
• To register youth, add a ticket to your cart and apply your discount at checkout.

Hotel Package – $327

• Includes adult (18+) entry to the fishing derby.
• 3 nights at the Hell's Canyon Grand, breakfast, double occupancy.
• 3-day admission to the Steelhead Expo.

Derby Details

• The final Day of Derby Entry online is 1/8/2024
• People can enter the day at the event at Derby Headquarters at Hell's Canyon Grand Hotel
• The final daily check-in is 3 pm, Friday - Sunday

• Eligible Fish: Must be caught on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
• Please have a copy of your Derby Permit on your person or within the boat while fishing

Weigh-In Requirements

• Fish must be weighed in by the person who caught it
• Steelhead tag must be presented
• Must be weighed in at the official derby weigh-in station

Winner Determination

•  Winners are decided by the weight of fish
• In case of a tie:
  The length of fish will be used to determine the winner
  If both weight and length are the same, prize money will be split
  
  

Prizes

Men

• First – $500 + 30% of entry fees
• Second – $250 + 20% of entry fees
• Third – $100 + 10% of entry fees

Women

• First – $500 + 30% of entry fees
• Second – $250 + 20% of entry fees
• Third – $100 + 10% of entry fees
